In this show, my co-host, James “Tapeleg” Gralian from “The Rink Podcast,” and I break down the summer that was for the Colorado Avalanche. We talk about who’s back, who’s gone, and who’s new on the roster, we voice our concern over Peter Mueller’s head, we decide what should be done about former Avs head coach Marc Crawford, and we talk about almost everything else in between concerning the 2010-2011 Colorado Avalanche team. Those topics and much, much more in episode number 56 of The Avs Hockey Podcast. Thanks for the listen Avalanche fans. Ladies and gentleman, it’s Avalanche season!

Hey guys,
Very glad to hear you guys giving Stastny the credit he deserves. He just isn’t a flashy guy and sometimes that’s all people can see. I love a flashy, amazing goal-scorer too, it’s entertaining, but I want my team to win and Stats is the guy that is in the right place all the time. He’s a team guy and that is one of the most important guys on any squad. No team guys = limited success.

Thanks for the listen and the comment J. We appreciate the support for sure. Good to hear there are other fans out there thinking the same thing about Stastny’s contributions to the team. This team is young, but there are has to be some leadership there besides Foote considering the way they have played the past two seasons. I like what I’ve seen so far, for the most part, this season. Let’s hope the health and the playing with plenty of heart keeps going. It’s fun to watch.
